Thumbs up. I just had kebobs for lunch today. They were really yummy.
@cellokitty: the stations with the meats and veggies with the grills have other people grilling right? not like a diy for the guests? If there are like create your own kabobs at the stations then YES! but either way, I don't really like the fruit and cheese being part of the centerpiece... just my preference
Yeah, it might look weird if it isn't done well but it would give them something to nibble on while they wait. Hmm..good point.
And the grills will be manned! I can only imagine what would happen if a bunch of elderly guests had to cook their own!

The Mr. and I are having a daytime rustic themed wedding and reception and have been stuck on food for awhile (he wanted Moe's to cater but couldn't convince me to agree lol and I wanted too many unrelated foods) but Today we had a revolation: Kabobs!
Cute, right? We could have fruit and cheese kabobs as part of our centerpieces on each table and meat and veggie stations with a few grills. In addition we would serve sides like bread, seasoned rice, potatoes, salad and string beans and the dessert buffet.
