The 30-year-old tattoo artist was proposed to on Twitter Saturday, December 15, by on-again-off-again boyfriend Deadmau5 (real name: Joel Zimmerman).

It's perfect for her! It's also a pretty ring in general...especially when she gets it with the black diamond.
I think it will work perfectly for her. I like it, but it'd be more of a right hand/costume piece for me.
I wouldn't choose it for myself but I think it suits her perfectly.
I like it...but too bad the engagement will be called off anyways sooner or later. LOL
@jmaze: Haha. Yeah... I can't help but assume this whole engagement - or marriage if it makes it there - won't last long.
As for the ring, it suits her, but it isn't something I'd wear.

it's fine for her I guess. She's in and out of relationships too often though so this may end up just being another ring on her finger.

i like black diamonds but i could do without the skulls.

Tackiest proposal ever, and an ugly ring - even for her. But to propose on Twitter with a picture you defaced in MS Paint? Ugh. We'll see how long this engagement lasts.
@Regina Phalange: Yeah, it's the skulls that are so off-putting for me too. Why would I want pieces of dead bodies on my ring? Eww.
I think it kinda rocks, its not for me, but for her style in particular its apporiate.
I don't like it, but seeing how she wears animal skulls dipped in gold as necklaces, it definitely suits her.
Not like it matters, as this engagement probably won't last. She's been engaged multiple times in just a few year timespan, and they never seem to work out. TBH I didn't even realize her and that motorcycle guy who cheated on Sandra Bullock (Jesse James, I think?) werent together still.
The skulls I can understand, but the overall effect of the ring is cheap. It literally looks like a skull ring I wore out of a gumball machine for most of 7th grade during my "goth phase"...lol.
Ummm it's very HER. I wouldn't wear anything with skulls on it that was meant to represent my commitment to someone ... but then again I'm not her.

ehhh the ring is okay... the proposal on the other hand... is just a "no." especially since they were so very recently broken up. :/ he seems like he struggles a lot with depression, and i'm worried how he'll handle them breaking up again.
ring is a yes (I happen to love black diamonds and skulls are kind of a thing for me). proposal is a no. on twitter? really? thats embarrassing. I would be livid, even as a celeb, to have been proposed to on twitter. I can't even take her seriously anymore. And I love her work and think she's got great personal style. But come on...

I think they could have done something equally macabre, but executed much better and with more creativity. This just looks like a bad Tiffany knock-off with two metal skulls soldered on after the fact.

I think it's awesome, but I would not pick it for myself so I wish there was another poll option for that!! I mean, I guess I'd choose one just like it provided the skulls were roses or something LoL.
I love it - for her. I wouldn't want it for myself, but I think it is a really perfect and thoughtful ring for her!
