I’m just curious after reading the results of a recent poll finding that most British women aren’t jealous of Kate. Of those who are jealous, it’s because of the money and/or that she’s marrying a prince. So I decided to take my own little poll.
I personally like Kate and think she’s a perfect match for William. But I don’t think I would want to be in her position. It takes a certain kind of woman and that’s not me! But I’ll admit that I’m jealous of the fantastic clothes she gets to wear!!!
How about you ladies? Comes on be honest!

Not at all – for so many reasons! They are changing her name for goodness sake! She has to go by ‘Catherine’ now because it is more princessy… Say goodbye to any kind of freedom. I was always more of a Harry fan, anyway 😉

Not at all. Yes, she is gorgeous and has a lot of money but her life is going to be so scrutinized. She is going to have to be on her very best behavior at all times. Its so much pressure!!

I don’t like to be the center of attention. lol Its hard enough to be at a wedding where maybe 100 people are looking at you but its horrifying to think that millions and millions of people will be watching you on tv/ in person. Not my cup of tea.
They are cute together and I do wish them lots of happiness.

Her life as she knows it is completely over. She is basically losing all of her freedom. I feel bad for her in a way.

Yes, her life will be completely different and she’ll be under a microscope for the most of it. But I think she can handle it–it takes an incredibly confident woman to be in her position!

I want to be jealous of her, but bottom line… I like my life and I don’t want to be followed around by the paparazzi, compared to my deceased mother-in-law all the time, and have to do whatever the Queen says. I’m such an independent woman I would freak the f*** out if I had so many rules and regs to follow. I don’t even know how they’ve been able to have a relationship! They are pretty amazing to get through all that.

Nope, I’d rather be poor and not a princess and get the freedom to do what I want.

NOOOOO There is no way I would let someone change my name… And I admit I like attention But i swear there is a news story everytime she does ANYTHING…. I couldnt do it….

I am jealous that her wedding is a week away but other than that I would not want to be in her shoes.
ETA- I would love to have all of the great clothes she has too.

Not jealous of her marrying William, but I’m jealous of all the experiences she’ll get to have! And I think she’s absolutely gorgeous and love how she dresses!

I feel bad for her. Not only does she have to live under the rules of the Royal PR machine but she is going to be chased like Diana was. And I am afraid it may become the same out come.
I would not want to be her at all, but I wish her all the best.

No Way! I got married last year and it was a pretty big wedding (about300 guests)…that was stressful enough! I love my inlawas and I think they were amazing during the wedding planning process, but having to form my wedding around what they thought was at times difficult…imagine if they were the royal family! The thought of the entire world watching my wedding with such expectation and then having my marriage under the watchful eye of the paparazzi…no thank you!

I think it’s because we all know what Princess Di went through, and nobody would wish that on themselves. Between all the affairs and her death, I think people wouldn’t want to have to handle all that attention. It’s absolutely overwhelming.

Totally agree bunnyfoofoo! I think after watching what Diana went through, no one wants to be in that position! The fairytale unraveled a long time ago.
