Did any of you see the dress Kate wore tonight for the party hosted by Prince Charles?

She wore the angora cropped sweater because it was chilly outside when they left Clarence House to go to the Palace. I bet she took it off when she got to the party--unless she was cold.

Where are the jewels? The super huge chandelier earrings or the fabulous bracelet covered in diamonds or the over the top drop necklace? SOMETHING ANYTHING!

I wanted her to keep the tiara on. She has an excuse to wear a tiara. A legitimate, goodness-gracious-there-are-DIAMONDS-ON-MY-HEAD tiara.

I love it! I think it's great she got to incorporate some more modern style with this look, which balances the timeless look she wore for the ceremony.

And I like the sweater! Don't see why it bothers everyone lol

I wish we could see the full neckline.  Without the sweater I am sure it is stunning.

I like the dress, but not the bolero. Looks... weird. Kinda of mixing styles but not in a good way.

I think she looks gorgeous although I agree, it's the wrong bolero for the dress. Can someone please tell her designer to stop putting seams that end right on her nipples?! It looks awful! She doesn't have big enough boobs to distract from it!

I just saw the pictures on yahoo and I just loved it!!

    Wow.

I think I like it even more than the earlier dress hehehe. This one is more my style u.u

About the cardigan, I think she might take it off once she's in the reception. It's ok, I'm not a big fan of cardigans and wedding dresses, but they are kind of trendy right now and it doesn't look bad at all.

@MsBrooklynA: Pippa's gotta stop upstaging the bride! She's stunning! You could put that girl in a potato sack and she'd look gorgeous.

@bakerella:True! Very true! I was reading some comments on a UK website under photos of Pippa and they just kept talking about how all Pippa and her mother want is to climb the social ladder and they don't actually care about the bride and groom...

@Paper Rose: I am watching CNN right now and just learned that her tiara was her something borrowed, from the Queen.

I love the reception dress too.  I think it looks really similar to the ceremony dress but without the lace and just with a beaded belt.  The shape is really similar.  I don't even mind the bolero.

IMHO, the colour of Pippa's dress is nice but she is looking a bit racy in both of her dresses.  Too tight and low cut!

Is this a separate dress or did they take off the lace top and overskirt, but add a belt?  Honestly, this one looks like it came from David's Bridal.

@Loribeth: I hadn't noticed it in earlier pictures, but in the ones you posted, you can clearly see THE CUPS sewn in the dress. This, ladies, is why I don't recommend sewn-in cups--they almost always show through somewhere.

I appreciate being chilly, but it looks like she grabbed the bolero out of the back of her closet.

As for Pippa, I loved her MOH dress.  The lack of VPLs, bulges, whatever is simply superhuman.  However, her evening dress is a fail.

I hope bugers, fries and milkshakes are on the menu tonight--both of these girls really need to eat...

@brandylynnp: Yeah, the tiara was given to the Queen on her 18th birthday. But Kate has crown jewel access now. I'm sure someone else would let her wear one until she gets her own, lol.

I like this reception dress because to me it seems like a subdued version of her ceremony dress..  Without the lace shoulders and train, just added a belt but the neck line and shape of the skirt is the same.  I think she looks stunning but she's so tiny!  and Pippa is gorgeous too but I don't like the reception dress, a bit rique I'd say.

@Georgia Bee: I can't see the cups showing through in the pics....Either way, I'd rather deal with the minute risk that someone will notice something tiny like that, than have my dress ride up/down and show the top of my strapless bra! Which definitely happened to me in some of my prom pictures. Sewn in cups are worth the risk IMO.

@bakerella:I'd make her introduce me to Harry instantly. Then onto David Beckham so I could see if I could snatch him from Victoria. Maybe just a little Tiger Woods type action ;)

Kate's reception dress is stunning. Its gorgeous and I think the sweater over is the perfect sorta down to earth touch for her.

As for her sister - her ceremony dress was amazing, but this reception dress is a flop. Please eat something. You look like your drowning in its folds.

@MademoiselleL: so I'm watching the replay coverage now on TLC and I am almost positive its the same dress but she removed the heavy skirt and lace.. When she walks in the ceremony gown you can see some separation in the skirt.

@jillieb:  Ya - I wasn't sure if it was the exact same dress since it doesn't have the lace appliques on the skirt.  But the pattern might be totally the same - it definitely looks extremely similar.

Awe that's really sad that people would attack her sister and mother on the day of the wedding and make them out to be social climbers.  What the heck people...jealousy is ugly...

Oh yeah and I think Kate looked beautiful.  I loved the second dress. The mixture of textures from the dress to the bolero make it very interesting and vintage looking.

I love both dresses. Nicely understated and still very royal looking. I was actually looking forward to seeing some royal jewels on display but I guess she isn't a blingy kind of girl.

I lovvve her reception dress, but the bolero is BAD. I get that she had to wear sleeves to the ceremony, but can't she show some shoulder at the reception?
