I’m not very religious, but I think I am spiritual. My fiance has been out of work for a few months while we plan our wedding… okay more than a few months. We have been okay financially on one salary but saving for the wedding is difficult. We have been doing well with our savings and staying on track… but things are so expensive! We really need this job. I went to church today with a friend so we could pray and light candles for him, I’ve never done that before. I just wanted to post this so the positive energy can be out there! Please cross your fingers for us! Ah!

@Fallicious1012: I will pray for your fiance!!! have you ever considered making a novena to St. Joseph? It’s 9 days straight of badgering St. Joseph (the patron saint of workers) to pray for you. This was very helpful when my husband and I were near the end of our rope trying to find jobs.
It’s a great novena because it really dials down the stress level, it focuses your mind on how loved you are and what really matters. Plus St Joseph was the adoptive father of Jesus Christ so his prayers are very powerful 🙂

Keeping you and FI in my thoughts! I can totally relate – Fi just got a new job a few months ago after a year long unemployment – it was really stressful for him of course but me too. Something will pop up for him eventually – just don’t give up hope! The more applications you put in the greater the chances one will work out!
