@peonyinparis: I think you should keep them, esp. if you find them more comfortable (and less anxiety-inducing) than your Choos. I think your beautiful gowns deserve equally-beautiful shoes. Plus, as you well know, I am a HUGE enabler. So, there’s only .02% chance I’d have said return them.
Are they too much? Of course!…If you mean “too awesome,” that is. 😉 In seriousness though, you can always switch between your Choos and your COs if you’re worried about comfort/ease of movement (or…you can buy an additional pair to allay your concerns, of course).
One important thing I will add is that you definitely need to practice walking in them on all surfaces (flat, slippery, hills, stairs, etc.). I have heels that also have that angled sole at the toe, and even though they are one of my most comfortable shoes, I learned that they are a death-trap if I try to walk down any type of incline in them (walking uphill/up the stairs is fine). If I come across any kind of hill/angled surface, then I have to walk backwards in them (looks crazy, but keeps me from breaking my neck). I also walk down the stairs very carefully (don’t shift any weight to your toes or you might go flying). Once you get a feel for how your Stellas feel, you won’t have any issues!
@gelaine22: My enablism will not let me leave this thread without letting you know how much you will LOVE your Miu Mius should you get a pair for your wedding. 😀

They are totally fabulous:))) you must wear them!!

@gelaine22: They are surprisingly comfortable, although I wouldn’t want to be skidding around on slippery surfaces. I have to say out of all the designer shoes I own, Charlotte Olympias have the most amazing, exquisite detail and finish. Which Miu Mius are you considering?
@MlleFabuleux: I should have known you would support this purchase. 😛 I was just a bit worried about the overt star motif on the shoes, I didn’t know if it was a bit on the childish/tacky side.

@peonyinparis: Of course. And honestly, it would never have crossed my mind to describe these shoes as “childish” or “tacky.” So, I don’t think you should worry about them coming across as such.
I can see how the star design would give you pause, but they’re no more ostentatious than the Louboutin Margi Diams or Rene Caovilla’s evening designs. At the worst, the Stellas are ~whimsical~. 😀

If you don’t keep them I will literally shed tears.

Wow, these are beautiful! I would tower over my fiance if I wore something like this but if you can pull them off, I would definitely go for it!

I second everything MlleFabuleux has said. They are so gorg, and such gorgeous shoes deserve to be loved, and worn, and with fabulous dresses. Plus … even if you didn’t end up wearing them during your wedding, they’re not exclusively bridal shoes so you can wear them to other events, nights out, etc …
