I doubt it.  The store wants to make money, and by making it more difficult to search or a password, it would cut back on the stores potential profits.

MyRegistry.com allows you to make it private with a password.

It’s a universal registry like Amazon.

Macys does as well. I had it set up for a while before making it public and kept it unsearchable.
