At the time of the wedding my flower girl will be 23 months and the ring bearer will be 2 months shy of 3.
I dont’ have huge expectations for these kids as far as their ‘duties’ they are just kids who mean a lot to us, so we wanted to involve them. If they get to the church and don’t want to come inside, well, no biggie.
However, lets say that they do go down the ailse and look cute and stuff, how can I keep them quiet and occupied for the ceremony? I’m thinking little (non staining) snacks and drinks. Coloring books. Anything else?

If you’re still looking for ideas, perhaps have a small toy or stuffed animal waiting for them up near the altar? Something new that they haven’t seen before–that might keep them occupied for a bit. Nothing that’s noisy or can be pushed around on the floor!–haha! Coloring books might be a good idea for the older one, but the not-quite-2-year-old may not get much out of it.

Could you have a parent or someone the kid likes close by so they can attend to the kid if needed? I’m not very good about toys for this age group.
