I know some of the January brides are getting married in wonderful warm sunny locations....  For those who aren't... How are you planning to keep warm?

I just purchased a "faux fur scrunch wrap"... Though I doubt it will keep me very warm in January in NYC.  ;)  I plan on adding elbow length leather gloves and a shot of vodka!

Love it! I am planning to try to find sometime similar.  The back of my dress is very ornate, so I don't really want to cover it up.

Beautiful! I also love the idea of the gloves.

I'm also thinking of something similar. My sister immediately told me she'd make me a faux fur stole, which will be special. My other sister crochets the most beautiful shawls, so I may ask her to make me one. I may do both!

@ Lindsay - this is a great option for not coveing the back of your dress.

@ Miss Helen - Oh, how lovely it would be to have each sister make a special wrap!  I say go for it.  :)

@ ashleyjane - does it get cold in Tampa?

what i really love about this thing is the elastic - you don't even have to bother undoing the hook & eye - you just pull it over your head and bam - instant outerwear.  Originally I was totally against faux or fo'real fur... but this combined with my dress & veil = instant glam with an old h'wood vibe...  :)

@crebre - thanks!  club monaco has these awesome gold (but not tacky) elbow length leather gloves that I may treat myself to.  Hopefully will work nicely with my vintage pearl necklaces that are goldish....  :)
