What a great idea!

So I remember when you posted about thinking of changing your stone for an oec and I’m sooo glad you kept the oval, it is STUNNING, and I’ve kinda been creepily & anxiously waiting to see you post it when it’s Done. It’s seriously one of my fave rings on the ring board. You have great taste! I love the vintageness of it. 😀

Here is my ring

LOVE this thread idea!

@mylittleviolett:  I love how rich the color is, how clear the (gorgeous) center stone is and that it has a vintage flair to it, I do think it is very classic and something you will love for the rest of your life! Is there any cool story behind the ring? Or did you simply fall in love with it?

@minipenguin:  Thank you 🙂 Actually my H picked it out for me. He went to the Natural Sapphire Company in NYC, looked through a bunch of different sapphires and found the perfect colored one for me which was violet (my fav color which is pretty specific) and he picked out the setting for me. He proposed to me in Cape May NJ on a dock that overlooked the ocean at sunset on a mini vacation we took. It was so special.

@minipenguin:  I love the shape of your stone… what is it???  I’m thinking I’d love that shape on a rhr but not sure I could pull off how long it is cuz my fingers are stuby compared to your long ones.  Absolutly gorgeous and so sparkly.

P.S. @mylittleviolett: I LOVE the color of your stone, if I wasn’t so in love with diamonds I would have gotten a purple stone cuz it’s my absolute favorite color and your stone is the perfect shade, so elegant 🙂

Here’s my sparkly 🙂

@alyssaC:  It’s a marquise!  My fave, but I’m seriously biased…  Every time I see your triple halo, I think it’s three times prettier than the single halos that are so popular on the ‘bee!

@GelaMac:  While I won’t hold it against you that you’re Canadian… (just kidding!) Your ring is beautiful! It’s what I always thought I wanted in an Ering. I ended up with something a little bit different, but I still kinda pine over my original vision.

That being said, I love love love the look when you stack your emerald band with it! to die for! I love the extra bling of the two diamond bands too!! Very pretty. And I love the thick band on your ering.

Here’s my set. She’s not quite as blingy or fanastic as some of yours, but they’re all beautiful!
