I am a Kenneth Pool bride as well! I am wearing her in just over a month -- so excited! Here I am at my second fitting.

I purchased my Kenneth Pool gown back in May and have been going back and forth on whether it's "THE ONE". The more that I think about it the more I think I really want a more sleek/mermaid-style dress (being a petite girl, I think I look like a cupcake in a ballgown), instead I went with what everyone else was telling me to buy. I'm IN LOVE with Mrs. Hamster's KP Sophisticate! It has the same sweetheart neckline and waist detailing as the dress that I bought, just a more streamlined skirt and it's made with satin instead of tulle:) If anyone knows of anyone interested in purchasing the Flirtation or selling their Sophisticate, please message me!

hi i think flirtation is gorgeous! if you are petite you will look like a princess! i want to ask you though, if you are getting fittings, what will they do with the beading? is it possible to take inthe waist if you have beading there?
Hi! Thanks for the kind words! If I decide to stick with the Fliration, I found a local (Houston) seamstress who used to make replica wedding gowns who has promised me that she'd be able to take in the waist with no beading issues at all. My biggest concern was how to take the skirt up, since there's so much heavy beading on the bottom, but we figured out that the best way would be to actually hem the bottom of the dress with a loose stitch, so it doesn't disturb the beading and nothing has to be cut off. The beading is so intricate and beautiful, I didn't want any of it to have to be cut or taken out.
I just got married in my flirtation dress on 8/7. It was beautiful. I got my alteration done at Amsale store in NY, and they were able to shorten the dress and tighten the top.
I will be wearing Kenneth Pool's "Royalty" in Champagne for my March wedding! SOOO EXCITED!

does anyone know how the kenneth pool sizing works? I'm a size 8 & they said I should order a 14 - seems too big?? I'm thinking of ordering a size 12 - any thoughts?
How true to size are your gowns?
@sagbride: i bought mine during a KP trunk sale at the Wedding Salon of Manhasset. It's about 25 minutes outside the city.
Any real Kenneth Pool "Happiness" brides who could post a pic? I would love to see what it looks like in real life??
I'm too, am blessed enough to be able to wear Kenneth Pool's Aria! I first caught a glimpse of it on Say Yes To The Dress and it was love at first sight! I can't wait to wear it this summer :)
