I’m looking for a rustic setting like buffalo trace, makers mark, or my dream is cedar grove. Looking for more options I case of budget issues. I really like barn venues but there doesnt seem to be many I can find. Any input ladies? Even family farms that are not advertised are fine with me!
any help is much appreciated

@Janes102690: I know it’s a bit of a drive from Louisville (about 2 hours), but my venue is in Wallingford, KY at Hutton-Loyd Tree Farm. They have a website and a Facebook if you want to look them up!

@Janes102690: We looked at Buffalo Trace, but couldn’t configure the club house to suit; we are NOT getting married outside (that was way off the table very early on). I don’t think Maker’s Mark offers event space. Talon winery has a barn.
I’m almost to the point that I’m going to book a hotel and let them take care of everything…

Lol I understand that! I don’t know if makers does but my grandfather graduated with the gentleman that started it so he is trying to work his magic. I have it narrowed down to a few places but waiting for summer to visit. I like the barn at cedar grove, theres a place that is a horse barn that I like, camp Carlson, and makers depending, possibly buffalo trace. On the up note I think I have found the dress today!!

You could check out Smith Berry Winery – They’ve got a beautiful landscape and ample space in the barn for an indoor ceremony/reception.

Another gem is the Shuck Farm in Waddy – Easy to access from I-64. They provide a fully covered outdoor area for the ceremony AND barn-style hall for the reception.
