So after multiple idea changes we have officially booked our honeymoon to Key West for a week in August!  I am so excited.  Are there any "must see" places in Key West?

I LOVE Key West!  Rent a bike and ride around the island!  Blue Heaven restaurant is awesome and you have to see the sunset at mallory square.  Its beautiful!  Have so much fun!!!!

If you're up for snorkeling and a little history, you have to take the ferry trip out to the Dry Tortugas.  It's a day long trip, but well worth it!  The Ghost Tour at night is entertaining, so are the Mel Fisher Museum and Hemmingway House.  A few other good restaurants are Red Fish Blue Fish and The Conch Republic Seafood Company.  Here's the link to the Key West Chamber of Commerce...it has coupons and discounts, as well as the local calendar of events to you can see what's happening while you're there.

    Enjoy!

I just (*heart*) Key West!!! It's so laid back and low key.  The hubby and I went over President's Day week.  Though the weather was unseasonably cool (think mid 60s as the high), we had a great time.

Things we visited:  Hemingway House, Key West Lighthouse, Truman Annex, Mallory Square, Key West Cemetery, the Southernmost Point, Key West Garden Club complex--can't remember the name?, and the docked Coast Guard ships near the Truman Annex.  Lots of walking and fun people watching.  GREAT SEAFOOD!!!  Loved Kelly's and the Howling Monkey Bar.  Awesome happy hours everywhere.

Hope you guys have a great time!!!!!
