A girls weekend in Key West will be great.
I highly recommend the Green Parrot on Whitehead Street as cool bar hangout (not as tourist ridden as most). Other than that, walk Duval Street and there will be a bar every 100 feet.
As far as a hotel, the Crowne Plaza La Concha is in the middle of everything good.
If your looking for something a little different, check out www.blushingbrideboudoir.com , I know they offer group champagne packages that would be great for a weekend retreat, and the start of a girls-night-out.
Best withes and Have fun!

OOOh if you haven't gone yet this would make for an awesome Party stop.
Better Than Sex, a dessert restaurant. Its oh so fun! think dark chocolate rimmed glasses of red wine, and Epherma Beer poured into pilsner coated with caramel on the outside. There's lots of Amazing desserts on the menu. And they also provide a ton of conversational fun games- many geared for a girls night out. I love it and make sure I go every night when I'm in town. (i have a tremendous sweet tooth) its a funny place. its delicious. all the dishes have naughty names and the staff really plays them up. Super Fun! and quite appropriate for a bachelorette party.
When I was the MOH for my best friend, we had a pole dancing class for her bachelorette party. All the girls had so much fun and something new to experience.
key west is one of my favorite places to visit!! (well, almost any place that has a coach outlet store is on my favorites list! lol) hope you have sooo much fun!
I'm not sure if you've made this trip yet, but here are a couple of recs. I usually stay at a great little B&B, the Duval Inn. It's on Angela, just a block off of Duval Street... perfect for walking all over. In the summer, they have pretty good deals. One of my favorite restaurants is Blue Heaven on Thomas Street. It's tucked away in this hidden garden, has an awesome atmosphere for relaxing, delicious food and the rum punch is rather tasty!
Oh and if you're heading there from Miami, Morada Bay Cafe (MM 81.6) in Islamorada is a great place for a pit stop. Put your toes in the sand, enjoy some live music and relax with an icy cold drink.
Have a great time with your girls! :o)
