Beautiful ring, congrats to you! I've never been to Key West in December, but that place has some of the nicest weather around! I love it there :)
Weather.com says the average temp there in December is 77 for the high, and 67 for the low. Sounds decent enough to me... maybe a Keys bee can chime in?
Congratulations! Your ring is beautiful. And it really does look like a disco ball under the Christmas lights.
No idea about the Keys in December. If I were you, I'd google it to find out what the average weather is that time of year.
I am from Ft. Lauderdale (4 hours north of Key West, 1.5hrs north of Key Largo) and the temperature is usually really nice in December. It honestly varies - this past December it was cooler than normal.. But previous years, I have gone to the beach on Christmas Day. It changes every year, but never COLD. I was in Key West in March 2010 and it was oddly cool for that time of year. It's hit or miss, but I'm from Florida so cold to me is probably not to others. I can say that i LOVE Key West though!!! Absolutely love it and go there every chance I can, so I would highly recommend it. Where is the timeshare?
Congrats on the engagement! Beautiful ring!! :)
The keys are typically in the 70's during the day in December.
Sunny and pleasent mostly but the waters are cold compared to the summer months.
I would say south florida is usually sunny and plesant in december, however this year we did have a few cold days (mid 40's at night). : O
Hope that helps a little. : )
Thanks everyone! :)
77 for the high sounds nice (especially since it's 19 right now where I'm at!)..I'm just a little worried because FI read that the water temp averages around 72. That seems a little chilly to me!
@cmh05g: I'm not sure where the timeshare is. I'll ask FMIL!
@Ivlanie: A friend of mine just got back from Orlando and said the same thing. Knowing my luck it'd be the same next year!

Hey hive. :) I'm newly engaged, well, erm..three weeks ago. [It was on the same day I graduated from college and the day before I moved 400 miles, so I've been a little swamped since. I'll attach a little ring porn to make up for my tardiness :) ]
Aaaaanyway, FI's parents have graciously offered to pay for the honeymoon, but their budget is a little tight. As expensive as flights are, it looks like our best bet would be to use their timeshare in the Florida Keys for our honeymoon and spend the money on airfare/food/activities/etc.
The only problem? Our wedding is in mid December. :/ Has anyone been to Key West around this time and spent much time on the beach/in the water?
Oh, and here's the ring porn. :D
(Under Christmas lights. My ring looked like a tiny discoball!)
Edit: Sorry the pictures are so huge!
