We did them for anyone that got a kids meal. The place cards were already marked as kids, so it made it easy for the venue to set up too. Some of the older kids helped the little ones with some of the puzzles in the activity book we put together. I think the cutoff was 12. They were a big hit, the parents loved that their kids were entertained. :-) And we had a LOT of kids.
Yeah, I would say 12 and under. If there are kids who are 12 and don't want it because they think they're too cool (
), they don't HAVE to take one. I saw a picture of someone who did this in a bridal magazine and thought it was so cool! I would totally do it, too, but in all reality, I think we will only have a few kids in attendance at our wedding.

I haven't ordered mine yet but planning to do so in the future! I have about 15 kids attending from ages 13-9 months. I am looking for some cool ideas for the older kids as well.
I agree 12 is the appropriate age to cut off goody bags. I have a 4 and 5 year old they are into completly diffrent items as my 12 year old sister. I would try to do a young kids bag and a older kids bag. Oriental Trading has awesome items for these!

Hi there!
I am having an outdoor wedding in a tent with about 150 guests this September, and I am going to make gift bags for the kids. I have already bought some things, such as; glow sticks, crayons, word searches, chinese finger traps, yo yos, and other little toys.
I am just wondering at what age would be too old to get one? I know my middle school cousins would think they are dumb (or at least say that), and I thought even kids in 4th or 5th grade might not like everything.
Any advice would be great! Thanks!
