So I am the Maid/Matron of Honor in my friend’s upcoming wedding, and I offered to make kiddie bags. There are 16 kids between the ages of newborn – 7. So for the kids two and up, I am going M&Ms, goldfish, a few crayons, a silly band or two, and a few coloring sheets. But there are five kids newborn and one year old! What should I do for them? Same thing…nothing…something different?

Rattles, toys perfect for newborn to age 1. If you know the gender, that’s even more helpful! Also, you could give them things they can have in their room when they’re older, like statues of wolves (non-scary ones), dreamcatchers, etc. Just be sure to tell the parent it’s in there.
You could also give them blankets, or little hats, or little things like that. Maybe a decoration that can be hung in their room.
Oh, and here’s a weird idea that would work: any squeaky toy suitable for a dog, is suitable for a child. (not much difference, if you think about it… if a dog won’t get choked or hurt, neither can a child….)
Go to the baby section of a store and get the toys from there. Oh!!! And you can also get personalized bibs, too, if you want to do that… you can also do onsies and t-shirts for babies to kids, so that could be kinda cool.
Also, if they parents allow it, you can give newborns to age 1 suckers. Without a filling. (like the ones from a bank…). I did that with my two and took them away once they had sharp points or got too small. It’s really a parental thing, since you have to keep an eye on the baby and the sucker, lol.
hope this helps!!!
