I’m just wondering if anyone else experiences this, or has any suggestions on what I can do to help it.
Quite often, when I wake up in the morning I have this horrible pain in my lower back where the kidneys are. It hurts so badly that I can hardly breathe. I immediately go to the bathroom to pee, and it’s as though I can feel the pain leaving my body. This is what makes me believe it’s my kidneys.
I am a heavy sleeper, and I’ve never woke up during the night to pee. I figure maybe since I hold it in so long that that’s what is causing the pain? I always make sure to pee right before bed, and I don’t drink anything at night other than with supper, but this still happens. I’ve never had a kidney stone or any other issues related to the urinary system.
When it started happening I went to my doctor to get checked for a UTI, they said everything was fine and to limit my fluids at night to help, but it doesn’t seem to matter.
Anyone else experience this or have any suggestions?
