I have two children of my own so I wanted to incorporate some fun activities for the kids and I see that alot of people do the whole I spy picture thing. What do you ladies think of doing the I spy just for the children????

I think it’s a great idea! You can gear it more towards kids too, with simpler concepts. You could also make them some placemats like they have in restaurants with word finds and puzzles. Maybe put some go fish cards on the table. So many fun things you could set them up with 🙂

I like the idea of Uno or go-fish on the table…I feel like especially during the dinner portion (where kids eat 2 bites of chicken finger and exclaim “FINISHED!” because they want to play with the other kids) which will require the kids to be engaged in something non-physical.
Coloring is also a lot of fun!
If you are doing an outdoor wedding, you might want to do like a scavanger hunt? Like collecting various weddingy things (program, napkin signed by Aunt Sally) if you are truly daring and the kids are a little older, you could get those old disposable cameras and make it a picture taking scavanger hunt (picture with Grandpops, Picture of the Cake, Picture of the Bride’s shoes)

I was at a wedding where they played musical chairs. Every time a kid was out they recieved a tootsie pop and the kid that won got a tootsie pop bouquet. They loved it and it really made them feel like they were a part of the wedding.
