@Kimberley25:  I equate that to asking someone to pay for a seat at my wedding. If you host a party you pay. End of story.

This happened to me a few months back my son went to a party I gave the boy a $20 gift card inside a  card and left as my other son had basketball to go to and when I returned my son informed me the I needed to pay the entry fee into the skate centre for him. I felt embarrassed so I paid and quickly left. I was shocked a 2 hour party cost me $30 and he didn’t even get lunch just a drink and cake!!!!!!

If you cannot afford to take care of the guests then you shouldn’t be throwing a party!
