I do plan on picking an avatar, but honestly I don't know exactly how that works? Am I just supposed to find a pic I like, save it to my comp and then use it as my display?
I spend a lot of time on here at work, so I can't download anything to their comps, and usually when I get home I'm focused on last minute projeccts, housework, etc and haven't really thought about it.
I like everyone's pics though, I'm tired of this little green bee lol.
Yuppers - I also just jumped right into the fray. At first I only posted occasionally, but now I try to post all the time, although I don't think I will ever make it as high as some of the other revered bees on here (ejs4y8 and crebre80 come to mind!).

I just did a search for a picture I liked on Google. I always thought robots were super cute (think Wall-E) so I wanted a Robot Love theme for my avatar. I didn't want to post a pic of myself, so I did this instead!
Yes, that is how you post an avatar--save a pic you like, make sure it's small enough, and then upload it through your profile. But really, I recognize your name now so I know who you are. :)

It's okay, I think a lot of us never really introduced ourselves and we went straight for the post. I know that I did. Here is a late welcome!
To choose and avatar, go to the top right corner of your screen where it says "view your profile" then "avatar" should be listed on the thin green line with "profile""edit" favorites" etc. Just click that and use the "choose file" button to upload a picture from your computer. If it's too big I think it won't load and it will tell you.

I bet I'm going to have problems with that because all the pics I've tried to upload so far have not worked.
I can't show you my DIY pics cuz they were too big.

Nice to "meet" ya! I have liked your posts on the boards. As for introducing late.. haha, me too! and now i want to introduce myself, too! I think i just started in answering questions and opinions and voting on polls that I never thought to give a formal hello. I am melissabegins, been engaged for just over a year, and getting married in Jamaica on 12/12. I'm a yankee transplant in Florida with 2 cats, am awesome at Simpsons trivia, and enjoy traveling, games, delicious food and wine, and my FH. We are honeymooning in the tiny Little Cayman, home of 120 residents, and some of the most beauutiful diving (snorkeling for me!) there is.

i did the same thing! was so excited to find WB shortly after becoming engaged so i never got to lurk, so i started posting instead! everyone has been so nice and welcoming though so i think its ok we didn't have a formal intro

I just want to take a minute to say that I feel like a weirdo for just popping onto the boards and posting without introducing myself first lol.
I was never a 'lurker' on WB, so honestly I didn't know how things worked.
I just found it one day and started posting, and then realized there was a true sense of community here and I feel that I sort of disrupted that because no one even knew who I was.
