I found out that my Maid/Matron of Honor is preggo… our wedding is Oct 1 but she is due middle of Aug. Then I found out another bridesmaid is trying, so she will probably be preggo during the wedding (since it’s 9 months away from tomorrow)… I am pretty excited, but secretly hoping she doesn’t get preggo for awhile so she doesn’t have the baby on the wedding day. I will be heartbroken if she can’t be at the wedding. Don’t get me wrong, I am SUPER excited for them both 🙂 Baby fever is def going on! 🙂

Aww how exciting! Lots o’ babies!
My friend was 8 months pregnant and in her SIL’s wedding. She was so nervous the dress wasn’t going to fit, but everything worked out and she looked great. I hope the timing works out and your BM can still be at your wedding!

Just wanted to say I love your attitude about this! It’s normal to be a little worried about them not being there, but I’m so glad you are happy for them. I’ve seen so many posts where brides are so upset about pregnant friends! Weddings are important, but so are babies!!!

Hey date twin! I have eight bridesmaids, and I know that 2-3 of them will be trying to get preggo between now and then. Bummer that they may have to miss out on the open bar! Lol!!! But my atttitude is the same as yours- I just hope they are able to make my wedding and help keep me calm as I walk down the aisle!!!

@LoveHappy: and @littlecat: yeah, I would never ask my friends not to get preggo b/c of my wedding.. they have lives too, lol. I just will cross my fingers and hope if the one gets preggo that she will be less than 9 months preggo come Oct 1 🙂

My little sis is not anywhere near tying the knot, but she really wants me to be “hugely pregnant” when she does. She thinks it would be the cutest thing ever. Oh boy.

One of my bridesmaids (and oldest friend) called me just after I was engaged to let me know she was pregnant and hoped I wouldn’t have my wedding @ end of june (as I was thinking) as she was due July 4 and REALLY wanted to be at my wedding! Well, we planned the wedding for July 24…she had the baby on July 11th and she was there for me on my wedding day! What a trouper and fantastic friend! Think goodness her mil was there to watch the baby and she could take time out to nurse. She was amazing!
Edit- I used to tease my bridesmaids (I knew who they would be for a VERY long time) that they were all going to big and pregnant when I got married and I would make them wear orange dresses so they would look like pumpkins (before that I would tell them they would have to wear big pink dress to look like cupcakes). While none of them were actually pregnant @ time of wedding, 3 out of 4 were nursing…instead of my bridesmaids I called them my milkmaids!
