Haha that last part was cute. After I bought my dress FH asked me if that meant we could stop watching say yes to the dress now :)
You should start dropping fake clues about your dress and really mess with him!
Very cute! I actually do drop fake clues about my dress and laugh when FI gets confused.
"Sweetie, would you really be upset if my dress were red? What if it were just a little red? I'm just starting to worry a little"
I love it. I hate having to hide it from my FI, but he wont let me tell him :( Maybe I'll be sneaky too :)
I can totally relate. I've made my guy watch every episode of Say Yes to the Dress with me. Recently, when we were having a discussion about wedding stuff I said something about needing to shop for a wedding dress, and he said "Just don't get anything with any pick-ups or rouching" OMG! And all this time I was thinking he was just suffering through those shows, he was paying attention. LOL. That's my guy!
@SandyThePoet: OMG that is so cute! I still can't imagine my FI saying ruching!! Your guy really knows his stuff! =)

Let me just say that FI is very against seeing my dress or knowing what I'm going to look like for the wedding...ok:
We were at dinner last night, and I told him that I wanted to take dance lessons and learn the Argentine Tango to dance to Ingrid Michaelson's "Parachute." (Not for our first dance, but just for entertainment//funzies).
So he's like "Uh, babe...tangos are hard. Like really hard. Like we should have been practicing already!" (Neither of us are dancers, and one of us - me - is ridiculously uncoordinated),
And I say, "I know love, I didn't really think about it for real, just thought it would be cute. I don't think I could do a tango in a long mermaid-style gown anyway."
He jaw dropped and he just glared at me. LOL, he was NOT happy that I pretty much told him what my dress looked like. I was like, do you even know what mermaid style means? And his response? "DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY EPISODES OF SAY YES TO THE DRESS I'VE SEEN THIS YEAR!?!?"
Hahahaha, well if you made it to the end of this [what I find to be hilarious] anecdote, thanks, and good for you!
