Now that our wedding is getting closer I have to admit I’m a registry stalker 🙂 (I know its bad). But I was super surprised this morning to find out someone purchased our most expensive item our kitchen aid mixer. I have NO idea who would be that generous but I’m super excited. Who knows maybe its several people. Fiance and I are such pratcial people we never would have bought it for ourselves and 99.9% of our registry items are under $100.

Ours was the very first gift we received. It was also, by far, the most expensive thing on our registry and the one thing I was sure no one was going to buy. It turned out to be my brother and his ladyfriend. I love mine!

It was the first thing I got too!!! I know so many people who go in together to buy a mixer for a shower. It’s one of my favorite things to gift too bc I love mine sooo much!

I am dying to get mine but refuse to registry stalk no matter how bad I want to know! But I know for a fact we haven’t received it yet! At least not on the doorstep!

Ours was one of the first gifts purchased too even though I knew that we would be getting it anyway. My Mother-In-Law & I bought my SIL’s Kitchenaid when she got married so I knew that my Mother-In-Law would be getting mine as well. It actually worked out great for us because between the time that they got married and we got married, the prices dropped so we were able to register for the Pro model for the same price that my Mother-In-Law & I paid for the Artisan that we got my SIL. Score!

Awesome … my future in-laws got us one a couple of months ahead of the wedding because they knew we had registered for one, but found a promo at another store where you got a free glass mixing bowl if you bought it by a certain date …
So it showed up on our doorstep, with instructions that “there was to be no pre-marital mixing.” Tee-hee … when I wrote out the thank you note (immediately!), I played along: “Dear Future Father-In-Law and Future Mother-In-Law, thank you so much for the lovely mixer! Fiance and I will do our best to respect your wishes regarding no pre-marital mixing, but the temptation is very strong …”
