What is she doing during these episodes that may be seizures?

If it is a seizure, cats are more likely to develop seizures secondary to another disease whereas  epilepsy is more common in dogs.  If she has another episode that you think is a seizure, take a video to show your vet.  Many people mistake seizures when they are not having seizures.  Additionally, if she is having seizures that are becoming more frequent, she should see her vet.  Frequent seizures can make it easier to have another seizure.  She should get checked out and if nothing else is going on you can talk to your vet if her seizures are frequent enough to warrant treatment.

Do the seizure meds interfere with the heart meds? What is his reasoning for not putting her on them?

I think videotaping the seizures is a great idea! Hope your fur baby is ok!!!
