A big bumble bee flew into the window and of course my kitty swatted it and chased it around. The bee stung him and now he has a giant swollen paw 🙁 Poor little guy!
He doesn’t appear to be in any pain. He licked it a lot initially, but is not anymore. I can’t find the stinger.
Is there anything else I should do? Anyone else been through this?

I have never been through this, but I do know that cats hide their pain well so as not to seem vulnerable to predators. If it is still swollen in about 3 days or if it gets any worse, I would try to get him to a vet. Poor kitty kitty 🙁 I hope he feels better!!

@Pumpkin_Bee: thanks! He just pounced on something so I’m guessing that means he’s okay? haha. he’s such a silly butt.

This happened to my cat! I took him to the gets as it was really swollen, but they just said there’s not much they can so unless the cat has an allergic reaction, so I just had to keep an eye on him, ice the paw and make sure he was still behaving normally. Hope all is well with your cat!
