So I have the opportunity to buy a pre-owned wedding dress but want to verify the authenticity. Its an Amsale and I requested a photo of the tags. She stated that she purchased it at Kleinfelds and under the Amsale label was a Kleinfelds label. Is this normal?
The tags were still attached to the dress as well. Just nervous and don’t want to get scammed.

I purchased two Lazaro dresses from Kleinfelds. Both addresses arrived with tags and a label attached inside the dress from Lazaro. There was ALSO a Kleinfeld’s label attached to the dress (they did the alterations). So yes this is normal given she probably had alterations done at Kleinfeld’s as well. Klenfelds has a very good authentication process (i.e., they verify the dress against your actual order, the dress is shipped to you but you ARE NOT ALLOWED to open the box and must bring the unopened box to your first alterations appointment for verification). Not sure of the process if you decide to get alterations completed somewhere else. Anyway what you are seeing sounds right to me.
You can also ask her to send you the original invoice (dress purchased at Kleinfeld) or you can call Klenfeld yourself to confirm their labeling process.
