So I got an email that Kleinfeld is having a sample sale in a few weeks.  So I made my appointment.  I did some searching on here, and some bees have been in the past and recommended the sample sale as a good time to find a beautiful designer dress that normally would be out of your budget.  But my question has to do with sizing.

I wear a street size 14...are there going to be any dress for me to try on?  I don't want to go and be disappointed, so if there isn't going to be anything for me to try on, I want to cancel the appointment and focus somewhere else!

I went with a couple of friends last year during their sample sale. Truth be told, I didn't really think they had that good a selection. Personally speaking of course. I remember my friend told them her budget was 3k (which of course it wasn't. She had a $1500 budget) and the dresses they brought kinda looked...well... anyhow, my friend wore a street size 12 and they brought her 14's. They didn't have a lot. But as I said, that was last year.

I went to the Blowout Sale on April 27, 2010 and bought a dress. It hadn't been tried on much if at all, bought for less than 1/3 the price including the tax, and was really easy (got there at 8:00 amish and received the #9). Anyway, I was a size 12 at the time. Some of the dresses were tight, but the one I bought was an A-line with a lace up back. It fit perfectly. Maybe I got lucky, but the girl in the dressing room with me found a dress too. Granted, she was a beautiful stick.

Yeah - that's what I'm afraid of.  It will all be smaller girls and I'll be left with not much to try on.  I also had to sign up for an appointment and it's towards the end of the day, so I'm worried whatever they do have will be gone!
