Why not go for the DB dresses if they're already in the color and sihlouette you want?
My BM dresses are Bill Levkoff he has some great strapless tea length dresses, mine even has a contrasting sash with ruching on the bodice!
Daydreamer - the DB dresses have a seam that goes right down the middle of the dress from the bust to the bottom, and there are several seams around the dress to get the flowy hem to happen. I felt that it made it looker cheaper than what I'm going for. So I'm out looking for that sort of hem
Here is the dress my BMs will have (but with a white sash). They're Alfred Angelo 6453, satin with a bubble skirt and chiffon sash, they're supposed to hit just below the knee but they could always be altered. My BMs range in size from 4-14, and they all agreed on this one. It was very flattering. It also comes with optional spaghetti straps, so that was a selling point for some of the girls!
Whoops forgot part of my message lol. Alfred Angelo has a nice teal (called Tealness). I think this dress ran about $150.
There are some by Watters bridal and they are really pretty. They come in that bright pink color and teal as well.
Check out Thread bridesmaids dresses. I like the party collection dresses there the best. They have a lot of different options.
I don't know if you already found your bm dresses but I have three brand new teal dresses that are strapless and knee length for sale. They were never even tried on and still have the tags. They are from the B2 Jasmine line. Let me know if you are interested. Hiya Everyone,
I am really struggling to find a bridesmaid dress that fits my vision. I want something classic yet fun. By colors are Teal and Fuchsia, but the dresses will be all Teal (teal or turquiose, depending on the swatch).
I really like these dresses from Belsoie and Impression (both carry my color), but am having a hard time finding a knee length dress that has a sweetheart/strapless neckline, that would flatter my girls, and where the hemline is flowy (like the one David's one below).
I'm also really concerned about ordering the Belsoie dresses in the shorter length. A retailer that I visited assured me that I could order the red dress in tea length and hem it to knee length, but I dont believe that can be done without cutting off the flowy trumpet skirt (which I want). The Belsoie website says that the teal one can be ordered in knee length, so I'm assuming the trumpet skirt with still be there, just around the knee like I want from the David's picture. I've emailed the Jasmine/Belsoie company to ask them these questions but haven't heard back yet.
I'm really hesitant to move forward without knowing about the hemline and all. Has anyone gotten long Belsoie BM dresses and either ordered them or hemmed them to a shorter length? Can anyone share pictures or give me some more suggestions on knee length teal/turquoise dresses?
I really appreciate it!
Jenn
