I have a knife edge and LOVE it! I have really skinny fingers, so it doesn't look bulky. It also barely feels like its there because its so slim. Platinum does scratch easily, but the knife edge exposes less surface area and so less gets scracted easily. And if you go with a good jeweler, they should offer free buffing for a lifetime! Hope that helps!
I have a knife edge, and think it contributed to a recent nick on the edge of my ring; the jeweler says it was a freak thing, and not a common occurance with that style. I love my ring, so I hope it was just a one time thing.
I have a knife edge e-ring solitaire. I love it, just now what kind of band to go with it.

Just wondering, those of you with knife edge band, can you please share your experience (pro vs. cons) in everyday wear? I'm having a dilemma over my band width, and thought if I go with a knife edge, the band will appear thinner...but I do use my hands a lot and worry that it'll get in a way...
Oh, and having been advised that platinum scratches easily, would knife edge in platinum be a problem?
