Ok, ladies. I've searched EVERYWHERE on the internet to try and find a decent company to purchase a knockoff wedding dress from. I'm not really sure how many brides do this, but hopefully this post will help someone out there.
I actually found some old posts on here about dhgate and a seller called monica bridal. I looked them up and they had all kinds of wonderful feedback. So I took a chance and ordered a dress from China! I wanted a maggie sottero simone. I'll post the inspiration pic and upload the pic of the dress they send me when it gets here. Wish me luck!

PLEASE update me on this! =) I am also looking for a knock off, high quality wedding dress, and don't know whether or not to buy off e-bay, or a chinese whole sale website. So could you let me know when it arrives and you have posted pics? I would greatly appreciate it :)
be very careful with knock offs there caled knock offs for a reason..I tried this approach and was very dissapointed maybe you can find a bride who has your dress and buy it from here..
Cant wait to see pics of your dress, I got a knock off from Trade Tang in China, it turned out perfect - great quality too!
I really like what i have heard about monica's bridal. I think you will have much success with them. Please keep us all posted.
I ordered 2 dresses from Dressilyme.com and I am very happy with my results. I received great quality and a great price.
I wish you the same luck!!! Knock offs are safe with the right designer.

I have seen some results on a different site from Monicasbridal and there seem to be many happy customers. i hope you will be one of them. I am curious about their quality. This picture is gorgeous.
yes please post pictures... and if possible, of you wearing it? so we can see the fit/cut etc...
I found a dress already, and put money down on it, fortunately it wasn't alot because I'm having major dress regret, especially with my VR so far away. So I just want to see if there is a good, affordable place where I can get the dress of my dreams without spending over a months rent.

ok, so here are the pictures that the dress maker sent me.. please be brutally honest! I'm not sure what I think of it yet.. it hasnt arrived yet 
@Lealea: I think it turned out excellent! The only thing that strikes me as not quite similar is the beading on the hip above the skirt, but it's beautiful!
Agreed. Thats what stricks me different also. I like the satin and I love how it drapes. I think it will be beautiful on.

And i was hoping the beading would be a little more intricate than what it is.
Definitely request a picture of the back of the dress. You shouldn't confirm until you have seen both sides. Unless you feel comfortable.
the knock off neck line looks different. It looks like a sweetheart rather then the scoop and points like the original. It also looks like the drop waist is lower? and the way it ends at the drop waist is not the same. In the original it looks as though the pleats all come together in the center like a starburst instead of crossing again. The "pleats" look more like "pleats in the knock off and in the original they look more like rouching or gathering? The skirt in the knock off is more of a bell shape, whereas the inspiration is more of a flare?
I asked for the sweetheart neckline, but the bell shape of the skirt and the lack of beading are my only concerns at this point. Maybe after it is hemmed and a petticoat is added it might flare out more?
You will be fine with a petticoat for the flare I am sure the model has one on too. The pleats look exactly the same to me I wouldn't stress over it. it looks great and I am sure you saved a ton!
@superplannerbee: You can always take it to a local place to get more beading.
Agreed. I think the flare will be fine. I'd ask them to redo the beading there before they send it, and if it's still not to your liking, take it somewhere local- should be an easy & inexpensive fix IMO.
I think it turned out really well. I would get the beading redone or you might be able to request rhinestone trim.
The color looks different. Idk if its the light or its supposed to be.. Besides that.. It looks really good!! She did great from the looks of it. I would like to see that back!! Im excited for you to get it keep us updated :)
I think the dress looks absoulutley fabulous. Everyone has to remember that you are ordering a knockoff dress. It definately won't be 100% like the orginal.

thar dress looks amazing, i really love the criss cross design on the bodice, that will look so slimming and slinky. although the beading on the front IS slightly different, i still like it. but if you dont, then that actually wouldn't cost a lot to fix yourself if you bought crystal beads etc. if it was mine i think i would keep it just as it is, because it really is lovely.
i have ordered swarovski crystals off ebay, to add to my dress if it needs it, they cost me next to nothing, and its really easy to just add a few crystal beads here and there.
if it was my dress i would be very happy with the results.
i don' want to stress anyone but today on the news ( here in belgium) a woman who's being suite because she bought knock off shoes and when it came the customs open the package.... there was an interview of that woman who said that she didn't know that it was a knock off
