I have purchased the Kodak 300 instant camera on a whim for my photo booth prior to researching the price of film. After I received this started checking price on film…woooowww it super expensive:( a little out of our budget. Anyone have expierance with this or some ideas to do this a little cheapier than paying a $1.00 a sheet? Any advice on options?

Any instant film is going to be expensive. One, because it’s instant. Two, because since the death of the traditional instant option of Polaroid it has become a novelty item that is very sought after and thus really pricey. (the impossible project is reviving the polaroid formulas and that film is $20-$30 for 8 images). There are no cheap options. You might want to look into returning the camera and putting the money towards either a digital camera, or an actual photobooth/fauxtobooth.

I know we might just use our digital, labtop, and photo printer!
