We are registried at Kohl’s, Target and Amazon. Kohls was where we went first. We spend about a hour and half scanning items. Went to load it into the computer and nothing came up. Called the help line and they basicly told us. Sorry but your outta luck with all the stuff you scanned. So basicly I ended up going online to register for what we wanted. Mainly Fiesta wear and such. Went to to Target the same day had a great experience, no issues what so ever.

A Kohl’s just opened where we live (middle of bum**** nowhere – I swear, I haven’t seen people this excited since the Super Walmart came in Wink ).  So I’m interested in seeing what everyone has to say here!

I havent heard anything about Kohl’s so I cant offer much help. Heard negative things about Target’s registry (so sad because I LOVE that store) and really really great things about Macy’s and Bed Bath & Beyond.

I haven’t registered or anything yet…but I used to work at Kohl’s. I felt so bad because someone came in trying to buy something off of a registry once and I literally could not find it ANYWHERE. I tried everything. I’m thinking maybe it was done at a different store and that they had some product that we didn’t? I couldn’t even find it online. Sometimes people would come in and it would be super easy for me to find the items, and then other times it would take me a half hour because it wasn’t listed with the same name and number it should be. That only happened to me a couple times though, most of the time everything went smoothly.

I registered at kohls.  Their return policy is good — never had any issues with the stopaste past so I can only imagine it’d be the same with them now.  We scanned a lot of stuff and then tr lady didn’t know how to upload it.  She eventually figured it out.  After that I just added things online.  Guests get 15% off when they spend $50+ which isn’t hard to do.  You can print te coupons off and add them to your shower invite.  I also like kohls because of kohls cash.  If guests go in on that day they get money back for them to use in whatever they want later.  =]I haven’t had any issues so I say go for it.  I heard targets registry stuff was a pain in the butt so I didn’t bother.  Kohls was our target replacement registry after I read bad stuff too.

We registered at Kohl’s and LOVED it!!!  We had no problem with returns and no problems at all with buying stuff of the registry.  If people would send us cash we would go in and get stuff off the list and hand it to cashier and it updated right there!  We registered for all of our everyday dishwear (the Food Network brand) and it is great.  It is heavy duty and washes and uses really well.  We also did the bedding and some bath stuff there as well.  We had a Target registry too but only a small handful of things since we found almost everything we wanted either at Kohl’s or on the website.

We had trouble in the store as well, we created the registry and then all of a sudden it wouldn’t load on the computer at customer service. They called the help line, we sat on hold with the help line for 20 minutes. It was so annoying!! They also told us too bad, you’re out of luck. However when we got home on our computer our whole registry was there and accurate. What I didn’t like about it is that when an item went out of stock they just took it off our registry without notifying us so we could pick something similar.

We also registered at Macy’s with zero issues and excellent in store and online customer service, they always have great sales!

We are registered at Kohls and Target.  I have had no complaints about my Kohls registry.  The only thing that I found anoying about my Target one it that we registered on-line and not all of there on-line merchindise is in the stores.  When my sis went looking for my shower gift she said that she looked high and low in the kitchen dept for anything we registered for and couldn’t find anything.  So I decided to move more of the stuff I registered at Target for to my Kohls registry.

I went in to register at Kohl’s, but the salesperson was so dismissive and not even a little helpful at showing me how to set it up, so I left. I had already registered at BBB anyway, so I really didn’t care.  It was only disappointing because I love Kohl’s and shop there all the time.

I will say this also…we registered at Kohls, Pottery Barn, and BBB and if I had to rate them I’d say BBB, Pottery Barn, and then Kohls as far as the eagerness of employees to help you pick things.

Kohls, they handed you the scanning gun thingy and left you.  Pottery Barn, employees would ask if you needed help or whatever but they kinda let you be.  BBB, they answered every single question we had as well as checked in on us.  If anyone saw us with the scanning gun they’d ask us if we wanted water or needed help locating things or advice.  BBB was by far my favorite place to register — we went in a couple times and they’re so nice.  Kohls and Pottery Barn employees were nice but BBB kinda went above and beyond.  I absolutely loved that expirience and it was the first place we registered.

@iammcdibble:  Good luck!  I hope you guys have a fun time registery.  =)  And remember, if you get overwhelmed you can always look online too.  It’s easy to add stuff to Kohl’s registry.
