@ellelm: - You mean Kauai right? If so, type in "Kauai honeymoon" in search box above and you'll find tons of great info from past board posts. Our honeymoon in Kauai was magical - highly recommend if you're looking for a gorgeous/relaxing island.
We always stay at the south shore at Poipu (at condos called the Whalers Cove). There are tons of great snorkle spots and restaurants nearby (you've gotta each at the Beach House at sunset!). Then we do a day trip or two to the north shore to Princeville/Hanalei to walk around, check out Hanalei Bay and snorkle at Ke'e Beach. Anyway, I've been about 6 times now so PM me if you need details or other suggestions.
Yes, Kauai! Maybe thats why I couldn't find anything! LOL. Thanks Panda.
Thanks OztoCa. I'm on it it checking out your suggestions!

Nicest of all the Hawaian Islands iIthink. Much more lush! There is a really beautiful hotel there. It is called the Princeville

Have fun!
Kauai is absolutely beautiful! FI and I went a couple years ago. Tons of activities! I'd definitely recommend doing a helicopter ride because there are a ton of places you can only get to by hiking so an overhead view is spectacular! I also recommend snorkeling at Tunnels beach -- its amazing there! Take the drive up to Waimea Canyon too!! Eat at Puka dogs and also gets delicious shave ice over macadamia nut ice cream! The coconut syrup on pancakes is also amazing!
We used The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook to help us plan. I couldn't recommend that book enough! It was recommended to us by several of our friends too!
Good luck!!
I went in June, it is very beautiful! Do you have any specific questions? North shore and Ke'e beach were my favs!
We got married on Kauai last September. It was amazing! We rented a condo in Poipu beach right on the water. It was a great spot it was no more that an hours drive to anywhere we wanted to go.

Thank you so much girls. We are having the hardest time trying to figure out where to go. Then we thought about Maui...but keep hearing that Kauai is the nicest spot.
So grateful for these boards - you've given me something to go on. I may be back with ?s....:)
Thanks, Lisa
