I LOVE Buxom Lash from Bare Essentials. It’s a Sephora exclusive and is about $20 with tax. It’s not waterproof, though. Anastasia makes a waterproof mascara “top coat” that is pretty amazing. It’s clear and you just layer it over any mascara and you have instant tear-proof lashes!

I swear by Dior. Diorshow is fabulous. The new IT Lash is pretty good too.

Dior Show was my absolute favorite until I started using “They’re Real” by benefit. Those two are AWESOME and you can’t go wrong with either one. I get compliments on my lashes when I actually barely have any. They work wonders 😉

I always use two coats of different mascaras, and people are always commenting on my eyelashes. I love L’oreals Voluminous Million Lashes topped with L’Oreal Telescopic in Carbon Black for extra length. They both have the plastic brushes which I prefer because it grabs every lash without getting them clumpy.

Diorshow by Dior or Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced. I’ve used They’re Real by Benefit, but I get spider looking lashes with it.

They’re real by Benefit–that stuff STAYS ON forever. Better than sex by too faced is good too. If you want a waterproof, I would go with Stila.

I use a coat of Diorshow over a coat of Loreal Telescopic. I love defined lashes and the combination of the two are great. Just use a lash curler beforehand to keep the shape.

I really like the L’oreal voluminous and the telescopic in carbon black. Sometimes I use both, haha. The “butterfly” stuff is pretty good too IMO, and I love the shape of the brush. I like Benefit’s They’re Real as well, but I find the L’oreal is very similar and a lot cheaper.

I really like Prestige brand My Biggest Lashes. It can be a little difficult to find, but it’s awesome; I prefer it to more expensive formulas. I think it’s comparable to Diorshow, if you’ve ever used that.

I third the L’oreal voluminous.  I’ve tried many of the expensive brands at Sephera, and there were a few I liked too, but not any better than the L’oreal, so I go with that for the price.  I even wore it for my wedding day.  It held up perfectly though a hot, humid, and rainy day (but beautiful!).

FutureMrsBex:  Ditto. Layering thin coats of different mascaras is the way to go!

Edit: I go nuts on mascara–I use a lash primer, Lancôme Cils Booster XL, then a coat of Covergirl Lash Blast, then They’re Real, and if it’s a big night out, a coat of YSL Shocking, which really just is blacker than anything else. I also curl my lashes with heat.

The L’Oreal Voluminious Butterfly is great but needs to be used a few times first before it works best. The first couple times you use it its a bit wet and not at its full potential…use it 4 times first would be my suggestion. And use a curler with looks amazing!

TheLadyA :  +1 to this but I will go a step further…

I put on Benefit “They’re real” first because it’s thick and black and awesome, but some people say it flakes or it’s TOO thick, so I put on one coat of “they’re real” and then I put on one coat of Diorshow over it which separates and locks on the color. I get a lot of comments about my eyes
