Browse the vendor reviews section at projectwedding.com and then set up an interview with the ones who have the best reviews (even though everyone will have their own experience) and whom are in your price range. Make sure that you not only like their overall style after viewing an entire album, not just their "best of" shots online, but that your personalities mesh as that is very important as well.
I personally like the style of Jason Tran (http://jasonqtran.com) if you are into photojournalistic. But everyone has to decide for themselves who fits their individual style and tastes.
I highly recommend our photographer Caroline Tran. Her website is www.carolinetran.net. She has a blog there that she updates frequently. We absolutely LOVED her... she is amazingly talented and a really sweet person. Check out her work and see if her style is something your BFF would like. Good luck! :)
If your BFF goes for a journalistic/unposed look, I recommend our photographer Keith Nelson (website here) He was based in NorCal but now is here in L.A.. Happy hunting!

I don't know if you are still looking, but my photographer is amazing and he is will ing to negotiate! He's doing our wedding for way under normal and we are paying for his airfare and accommodations, he's basically saving us $1500!

Hey LA bees!
So I have a slight problem :(. My best friend also just got engaged and wanted to book a photographer. I suggested she book mine, but unfortunately the Photographer is already booked for that date. I found my photog through referrals of friends, but where did you guys find your photographers? We're trying to get her photog booked soon but really don't know where to begin looking!! Quite the dilemma :/
As the MOH I wanna help my bestie out as much as possible and only find the best!!!
Any suggestions!?
