Just wanted to warn any brides out there to stay away from DJ Eric Kissick. We hired him for our wedding, because he was cheap. Well you get what you paid for. I gave him a list of all the music we wanted played from the seating of our guests at the wedding all the way through the reception. In our meetings, he confirmed he had all the songs and would play them. At some point during the evening, he decided he knew better than us and started playing whatever he felt like. Much of the music alienated many of our guests and they went inside to get away from it. When I asked him why he hadn’t stuck to my playlist, he acted like I was an idiot and it was his show, not mine. Then to make matters worse, a CD of all our music was promised as part of the package we paid for. He never delivered the CD even after many requests on my part. He would give excuses that he was so busy or moving or this that and the other, but he would get to it soon. Each time, I said okay. Finally after months and months, I wrote him a strongly worded email to which he never replied. Recently I got a request from him to be added to his contacts. I wrote him and said no and reminded him of my displeasure. He wrote me back a nasty email calling me arrogant and a bridezilla. DON’T USE HIM unless you want to be treated poorly and with no respect for your wishes or for what you pay for. He will treat your event like a one-man show for him and he doesn’t deliver on his promises.
