I'm using my BFF to help make my wedding #1) affordable (wedding caterers charge way too much) and #2) unique. She has a brazilian bbq restaurant in Torrance and does catering. So not only do we get GOOD food. its totally affordable and its unique. But you have to like meat. If you don't that could be a problem as they serve tritip, sirloin, sausage, and chicken etc plus sides. Let me know if you want her info ... I know she's catered parties for up to 250 and has a mobile BBQ. (and liquor license if you need BYO alcohol and servers). I'd be glad to send you her info and let her know you may be contacting her...
I HIGHLY recommend The Kitchen for Exploring Food in Pasadena. They are awesome.
Contemporary Catering is amazing, they were the only caterers who would let us customize the menu! And def. reasonable!!!! They are awesome!
We're using command preformance out of Moorpark (by simi valley)
I've heard excellent reviews on their service and presentation (esp from our Priest, if anyone knows wedding food, its the clergy!)
They were also willing to work with my budget.
The Kitchen is a great Caterer. They cover most of your catering needs. Ask for Ivy. Patina is also a good caterer. Good Luck!!

Hi Ladies -- I'm looking for recommendations for caterers in the LA area, preferably south bay or westside. Or restaurants that offer servers, delivery and set up. We don't have a specific type of food in mind, but we'd need someone that can handle larger groups -- approx 100 people and not break the bank! :)
Thanks for your help!
