I have never been to La Placita Village myself, but having your reception at Hotel Arizona is going to be so nice! I think having the cocktail hour is a good idea so that your guests will have something to do. Other places you could use down town is Hotel Congress, Maynards, ect. Good luck!

Hi bees!
I have a question...
Have any of you considered or attended a cocktail hour at La Placita Village downtown..?
My Mass will be at the Cathedral at 2 & the reception is at the Hotel Arizona beginning at 6. I'm a little concerned about the 3ish hour gap and am thinking of hosting a little something before the reception. I figured La Placita would be nice and it's so close to my other venues.
Opinions..? Comments..?
Thank you!
