Hi... I am recently engaged.. and am looking for a venue around los angeles area.
I saw some pictures of the LA river center and gardens.. and i'm very interested in the place. Anyone have any more information about the venue? anyone use that venue for their wedding?
Any other venues in LA area (outdoor, garden) that you guys recommend?
How many people are you planning on having? Also, do you want a place for just there ceremony or the reception as well? I had my wedding at the Pacific Asia Museum in Pasadena. They have a very nice courtyard where I had my wedding w/a coy pond and bridge area. They can only hold 120 people though.
I looked at it-- it's nice enough and reasonably priced, and Event Professionals, the rental/catering company, is right on site so that's convenient. The downside, I think it could use some renovations, the natural history/taxidermy display is a little weird, and it's right next to the freeway/busy streets so there's some street noise. The biggest downside is that it books up SO FAST (I think they open their bookings 9 months or a year out), so it wasn't even an option for us after all.
Hi there I am wedding coordinator and have done 4 weddings there at the Los Angeles River Center this past couple of months. Its a beautiful venue and I know the facilitly person.
