Hi there….almost date twin and dress twin:)

I’m not going to have the dress bustled, since I’m only wearing it for the ceremony.

As for accessories…..I’m still working on it….yikes!

Hair: loose curls with the front of my hair pulled back. Very similar to this bride’s http://www.roohiphotography.com/blog/deanna-and-dax-vintage-spring-wedding-tampa-florida-wedding-photographer/

Shoes:http://www.thisnext.com/item/99D2DEE3/Jimmy-Choo-Evita-Metallic

Bridesmaids: are wearing cranberry red off the shoulder knee length dresses with nude pumps:)

Flowers:http://www.stylemepretty.com/gallery/photo/199018( something very similar with lots of pink, red, and white flowers.

I still have a few details to work on…hope your planning is going well:)

I understand how you feel, the La Sposa Denia is such a delicate gown. I was concerned about how the gown would look bustled as well, and then opted not do so since I have two gowns. Here is the link for my reception dress…….I love this blush pink gown. I’m wearing it in memory of my grandmother…she use to call me pink lady when I was a baby. http://www.davidsbridal.com/Product_Organza-Fit-and-Flare-Gown-with-Bias-Flange-Skirt-VW351011_Bridal-Gowns-Shop-By-Designer-White-by-Vera-Wang

P.S don’t be scared to have the dress bustled…Find a really good seamstress, and ask her opinion, if you feel like its right for you do it. The only reason I’m not doing so is because, it doesn’t make sense for me to bustle two dresses:)

Hi ladies,

I think I am also going to be a dress twin as after a lot (and I mean A LOT!) of dress hunting, I think the Denia is my ‘one’!

But I’d love to have your thoughts on it too- see the photo of me. Unfortunately the train isn’t displayed to maximum effect but you get the idea. I am also thinking of adding some delicate tulle or lace straps as I am not that comfortable in strapless.

I started out trying on a much more ‘full’ style dress by Lusan Mandongus but decided the Denia is much more flattering and also so unusual without be too quirky that I could regret it in years to come….

@Stephgrace  I love the idea of straps in tulle or lace, since it would make you feel more comfortable in the dress. The Denia is a beautiful dress and it looks lovely on you. I also love the fact that the Denia is so unique, awesome choice:)

@miss_bucket:

Hi! I am 5’4 but am planning on wearing some 4 inch heels so it should be fine. Also my fiance is very tall so I want some extra height for our photos etc! Think you really need to try it on to see but it was fine for me so would imagine it would be the same for you =)

Hi Ladies,

I have wedding dress remorse.  I got an awesome dress a couple of weeks ago and then I saw the La Sposa Denia.  I’m so cheating on my first dress…lol.  Is anyone selling their dress after their wedding?

I’m a size 4, and I’m a super shorty:  I’m 5 feet exactly.  I plan to wear 4.5 inch heels.

Thanks 🙂

Hi all it’s so awesome to be on this blog. I am a Denia bride and I will be getting married in Lagos NIgeria. I got my dress in London and I totally fell in love with it. My only problem is the tail. I think it’s too long but I don’t want to have it bustled. There is lots of dancing in Nigerian weddings and am afraid it’s going to get in my way. Any thoughts?

Since all of you have experience with this dress, I need some advise. I’m the classic pear shape. I’m very hippy with a small chest. I LOVE this dress, but I think it’ll draw a lot of attention to my lower half. What has your experience been? Does anyone know of a similar dress that is not quite so form fitting?

I’ve been looking at the “what dress is right for your shape” sites, but I definitely do not want a princess dress or anything with poof. I’m not sure where to start looking. And my 6 month date is in a few weeks! Help!
