    Hello,

My La Sposa Denia wedding dress just came in a few weeks ago. It is a lace dress with zipper and buttons back. I already ordered the smallest size there is but it's still a little loose on me. I am needing some alterations done to it. I need the sides taken in a little and also the hem to be taken up about 2 inches. Does anyone have this dress and have you had any luck with the alterations to this lace dress? also how much would it cost to make all of that alterations that I wanted.

    Thank you!

Hey, we are dress twins! I just bought this dress today. It's so beautiful I just love it! But I know what you mean about it being long. Even with shoes the sample was 2 inches too long. The store offered to custom order the length so they wouldnt have to hem it. But if they hadn't done that to begin with she said it would be possible to do. And taking it in on the sides should be no problem. She was saying if alterations had to be done it would range from 150-300. Have you had any luck so far with a seamstress?

I have this dress as well!! Please let me know how the alterations work out for you. Luckily the store ordered me the right hem length 59" but I don't know how to get the back bustled?? Did either of you ladies discuss this with your store?

Yeah they did the same for me, they ordered me 60". I thought that was a cool option. I asked them about the bustle and had her kinda show me. She said they would do 2. 1 for each layer. So the underneath one would hook and then the 2nd layer would hook a bit higher. But it would all ends up evening out on bottom. It looked pretty! Theres a thread on here talking about Pronovias Finisterre(its simmilar to ours) and scroll kinda far down someone posted an example of the bustle.

I am horrible ....I could NOT decide so I actually bought two veils!! here they are. I will sell the one I don't wear.

I liked this because it wa a bit more simple but still had the sequins like on the dress....

I liked this one because it is morbido tulle and the lace looks like it will match the gown

    Hi Ladies.

I am in the process of having my Denia altered. I have just had to have the seams taken in and luckily the length was perfect so that wasnt an issue. The bottom layer is being bustled onto itself, but the dressmaker thought that having the top layer bustled would ruin the look of the dress, so she is making a wrist loop for me. I am very excited about that, makes the dress feel princessy :) all up the alterations came to $200 AUS.

Hi girls, I've just ordered the La Sposa Denia in UK Size 8 (chart:34,25.5, 37) - my measurements are 33, 26, 37.  I went for the size down as I'm most likely to lose weight from my bust and waist in the run up to the wedding and don't want too much alterations done and the detail in the lace lost!  Anyway, now I'm worrying that I've done the wrong thing - should I have gone for a size 10?  How did your dresses come in, were they true to the guide??  HELP! Thank you!
