FI and I just made some last minute plans to go camping with family on Cape Cod! So excited!
Ours is this coming weekend and we're going camping! I cannot wait, it's my mini vacay for 3 days lol
We're going to a friend's wedding. I group of us all rented a cabin on a lake instead of getting hotel rooms (Yay for better lodging at the same cost per couple). We're going out on boats on Sunday.
FIs parents host a HUGE (like 100+ people) Labor Day cookout/party on the Sunday of Labor Day weekend on their land out in West Texas. It is always a good time! This will be my 4th year to attend :)
@Amanda_Rae: We are going to be in Gulf Shores too!! We are going to the Rock Allegiance Tour on Sunday at the Ampitheater! =)
Well, considering something may form in the gulf in the next few days, and I live in La, I probably won't be enjoying the weekend. I work in tv, and tropical stuff/hurricanes, etc are not good for workers in tv. I really don't want to deal with that and be forced to work non-stop. Argh! Maybe I'll just quit my job 5 months early. ;)

FI and I normally go camping for labour day weekend, but I didn't book my time off work in time, so I am working 40 hours over a four day span (I have two jobs). Eeeeek!
@misskarianne: Yay for beaches! I love Gulf Shores... so much better than the camp we used to go to down in Grand Isle, LA... my FI has never been to GS either... closest he came was being stationed in Hattiesburg, MS.
These all sound like great weekends you Bees have planned! All the lake fun and camping sounds like a nice way to enjoy the weather while it is still nice.

We rented a car to go look at venues. I hope we find one we love!
We're doing a day trip to San Jose to go to the Winchester Mystery House on Saturday. On Sunday DH is going dove hunting and I'll be spending the day by the pool with my sister :) And on Mondayyyy DH and I are having a "Game of Thrones" marathon at home!

I have a busy weekend. I have to work Friday night and Saturday thanks to college athletics being in full swing. Then Saturday night we're driving up (3 hours) to DH's parents because we're having our post-DW at-home-party for his family on Sunday.

What do Bees have planned for the long weekend?
My FI and I are driving down to Gulf Shores, AL to spend time with my parents and grandparents. Hopefully we will get some beach time, shopping and lots of eating in! Our next trip after that is in October for our engagement party in Baton Rouge... So excited about the next few months!
