I slept through most of my labor, so it would’ve been kinda creepy if I had any pictures taken during that time…  I would love to see other people’s photos, though!

No.  Under no cirumstances.  To me, it falls under the category of those pictures that I would never look at again, so why waste the time.  Plus it’s not like I’d ever share them.

Yeah, I already told the DH that I don’t want photos taken while I’m pushing.  I’m fine with photos of me in my hospital gown.

ETA- @Cyndistar… I wouldn’t mind having a photo of like that.  It’s a very calming photo. You look so relaxed!

@cyndistar3: I’m so jealous you labored in a tub! I think I have a pic or two at home I’ll post later.

My aunt walked in the room with a camcorder! I was so drugged out of my mind that I totally did not care. Luckily, my C-section stopped her from getting a *real* show! lol

I haven’t had a little one yet but when we do (start TTC on our wedding night!! 😀 ) I told FI that pics can be taken during labour but NOT while I’m showing pain/pushing.

I have not given birth, and as of right now, I would not like to have pictures. I don’t want to share the moment with anyone but my DH. I’m not interested in pictures beforehand or afterward in my hospital gown (maybe one picture of me holding the little babe) or any video. I told my FH that I wouldn’t want to let people know I was in labor, but that the moment the baby was born he could spread the news. If I want to remember what I went through, I can always look at my child.

I totally get why people take them and why they would want to visually remember the special moment though. It’s just not for me.

You do look super-relaxed; my cousin had a water birth and said it was nice, kind of calming. It helps, though, that she was only in labor for 5 hours. I can’t imagine 30!

My hubby wants to run a video camera while he also uses our digital camera.  I oh so politely said, no thanks I wasn’t interested…or at least I think I told him politely, lol. 😉
