Take a benadryl and go to sleep.... they'll wake you up when it's time ;)
ah! how exciting! good luck and i hope it picks up for ya!
You should get some sleep instead of more walking. You're going to be so tired! At least lay down in bed and put your feet up and hang out with your laptop on WB. :-)
@MightySapphire: agreed! I tried to push my labor with DS by more walking and after 17 hours I was only 2 cm!
I'm definitely taking the benedryl and bed advice from my midwife this time! When I can't sleep through them I know it's show time. lol
I think she just joked about it to help with the sleep part, since most of the time when labor seems imminet we get anxious and try to "speed it up" lol
Sleep??? What's that? lol The minute I get comfy the back pain starts. I think it is hot shower time.
Helped with the back. I am going to try to get some sleep. Keep your fingers crossed that something changes. :)
What is your due date? I don't think there's much you can do until the baby is ready to make an appearance. After getting some sleep, maybe clean your house? Keep busy and things will start happening on their own.
I was in labor in the hospital confined to my bed for 27 hours, and it can certainly be frustrating! Good luck!
I had 10 minute contractions for days. =( It sucks. you have my sympathies.
first of all i dont know why all my responses are coming out in italics....weird....anyway i walked around for 3 weeks at 3 cm. finally I relaxed and "forgot" about it and all of a sudden it just went into overdrive. When i least expected it. Im sorry your frustrated! hopefully something has changed since you last posted :(
Best wishes! And I'm sorry you're in that super crappy limbo phase right now. Try to sleep and eat even though it's hard. Sounds like it's happening soon even though soon while you're having contractions is never soon enough.
Hope things progressed overnight and you're having a baby as we speak (er ... type)!
No baby yet.... :( Just got back from the non stress test and he is in the canal ready to go, but contractions are not strong enough at 8 minutes to stay. Gonna try to take a nap and keep waiting...lol.
Oh and I am 37w4d so I am at full term. 17P worked for me...lol.
Sorry I didn't respond sooner, still no baby. I have not been online much lately just because I was getting frustrated. Cpntractions are now intermittent, UGH...lol. One of these days I might actually give birth. :)

I know the baby will get here when he is darn well good and ready. But I am really tired of 10 minutes apart contractions at this point. Walking has not helped, hot fries haven't helped. I am running on 6 hours of sleep here...I am tired and cranky...and I want this baby out! Ok I am done....thanks for listening. :)
