Hello all, I need an opinion! I have purchased the Maggie Sottero Adorae dress. I am getting married in a church and like the thought of wearing a bolero, however the only boleros I can seem to find are lace. Do you think a lace bolero would clash with the Adorae seeing as how it is satin and has the beading detail?

@JMcGovern: I’m an Adorae bride too!
I do think something in satin would look better than lace, but I might be in the minority on that thought. 🙂 Is there any way you could try on some options at your bridal boutique?

I think the different textures would be interesting/cute, but it really depends on the bolero you choose. I tried googling “satin bolero,” though, and got lots of results, so you don’t have to go with lace if you don’t want to!

I think a lace bridal jacket would look amaing over your dress.

@JMcGovern: Try this Etsy shop, she makes beautiful boleros and wraps in all styles and fabrics – chek her out, she’s very talented and her prices are not skyrocket, I’m sure you may like something she makes particulary for the gown you have: http://www.etsy.com/listing/60075727/poison-light-blue-dupioni-silk-bridal?
