What material is it made out of? If it is lace or cotton you can probably stretch it a bit, but if it is silk or satin you are out of luck. Can you exchange it witht he seller for a bigger size?

Hey, I bought a SpAZooiE bolero, too, how funny!  I pulled mine out to see how much stretch the material has- unfortunately, not much.  It might be possible to have it altered to make it bigger around the arms and in the back- I would think a good tailor could make cuts in the back that would be hidden under your arms that could give you some room.

It won’t stretch enough.

If you stretch it more than a quarter inch, the seams will start ripping.

Why don’t you return it and ask her to make you a special one and pay her a little more for it?

lol. Of topic slightly but I LOVE her winter cloak. I showed it to FI and he laughed. Men just have no sense of style!
