I’m the maid of honor for my best friend’s wedding. We are having a heck of a time finding the perfect dress… and it seems like it should be so easy since she knows exactly what she’s looking for.
She wants an all over lace dress with maybe some sparkle (but nothing big and beaded, kind of the feeling of accidental sparkle), sweetheart neckline, scalloped bottom, possible small sweep train (or no train at all), and ideally buttons all the way down the back. Seems easy right?
The biggest issue we’re running into is the actual lace. She is drawn more to a delicate (almost chantilly) lace, not an alencon or obvious lace as is more often shown.
The current front runner is this Robert Bullock Virginia http://www.birnbaumandbullock.com/collections/robert-bullock-bride-classics/?album=8&gallery=68, which she’d wear with a belt (she definitely wants to wear a cool belt) but she doesn’t love the belt. She liked to spend under 2K (as far under as possible).
Any help? PLEASE????

I would want to help, but I checked all the places where I usually look for dresses and found nothing. Thought I would bump your post though, hopefully someone else might be able to help!

I think I have the perfect dress for you. Sassi Holford, Mia.
I ALMOST bought her but I wanted more of a gown for my Catholic church wedding. Here are some pics.

A little bit more about this dress:
It has real buttons going down the back and a built in corset on the interior of the dress. It also has a built in belt, you probably can’t see it in the pics, but the lace goes a different pattern where a belt would be. I went to Randy to the Rescue and this is the dress he put me in. It is really stunning.

I bought the Tyanna by Venus in ivory. Buttons down the back, sweep train, scalloped bottom, could be tailored to be more column and less mermaid:) $1550, but I got 20% off

Davids Bridal White by Vera Wang VW351044, chantilly lace, add a sparkle belt, $700! You could sweetheart the neckline, no buttons though.

What about Maggie Sottero’s Karena Royal dress? a seamstress can easily make this dress have a sweetheart neckline and though the back is lace up if you order it a size or two up a seamstress can put in a zipper with buttons
