I wrapped all my votives in lace with a hot glue gun and didn't even think about this! Thanks for the warning, I'm definitely going to test this!

So I have begun covering a few votives with lace. im going for the completley covered look. I have a low temp glue gun. I did a sample last night and after about an hour the glue got hot, softened up again and the lace slid. any pointer? I am going to try the spary adhesive tonight but it seems like it may get messy. Thanks for any advice for this complete DIY gal.
