Love the dress, and personally i love the shoes too. When you go to alteraterions take those and perhaphs a pair of heels and see what looks better and then decide.

@Pumpkin_Bee:  I voted for you to go with them if you like them! Its not the choice I would make for myself, but this is YOUR day and if you’re as excited as you sound about them- then don’t you dare let anybody rain on your parade! Rock ’em!

@Pumpkin_Bee:  I really like them and was thinking of doing the same.  I have a long lace gown and will be so much more comfortable in flats or very low heals.  Where did you find them?

I think they look different but not different enough to be deliberate. If I’m wrong and they look good in person, go for it. Even if the colors are similar, there’s a flat/shiny vs. rough/textured issue for me in the fabric quality and type.

DSW has so many flats in metallics or nudes that would look adorable with that dress (I’d also try pink , purple or blue).

(Which is not to say I don’t like your shoes or dress, I just don’t think they coordinate perfectly!)

    So cute!

    Go with your gut.

Haters gonna hate, and no one will dislike it on your wedding day. They will just think you look stunning.

For me, the issue is not lace-on-lace (if you want to wear lace from head to toe, who’s to stop you?). The color is what’s throwing me off. Like PP pointed out, the color/texture difference isn’t enough to look intentional. So instead, it looks like you tried to match the ivory lace with the taupe crochet, but it didn’t work out.

Mabe if you wear a taupe sash or something, it’ll all coordinate better.

@Pumpkin_Bee:  The colours of this combination is very clear, simply and stunning. You have a great taste. This shoes could be weared with crocheted gloves too.
